Police Chief

If a township has established a police department, the township board is authorized to employ a chief of police and other police officers and detectives, as required. MCL 41.806 requires that, in general law townships, the township board hires the police chief and other officers and detectives.

CALL 911 WITH EMERGENCIES! STPD is a part time department with flexible hours. Our officers will be dispatched if on patrol.

NON-EMERGENCY calls can be placed to the township offices, 517-688-9223 ext 217. The call will be addressed at the soonest possible time.

The Board of Trustees thanks the residents for their continued support of a local department.
